An excavation project to investigate the pre-Islamic and Islamic ceramics from the Zabid area of North Yemen. Seven excavations were carried out in urban contexts to recover a ceramic sequence. The finds range in date from c. 1500 BC to the present day, though the vast majority are medieval.
