Wigalois

Wirnt von Grafenberg's Wigalois is one of the most important Arthurian novels of the High Middle Ages. The novel, written in 1210/20, draws upon motifs from the 'classical' Middle High German novels, e.g., from Wolfram's Parzival and Hartmann's Erec. This new edition includes not only the Middle High German text (by Kapteyn), but also a translation in modern German.
