Usability Testing of Ten-Print Fingerprint Capture

The Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) & the U.S. Visitor & Immigrant Status Indicator Technology (US-VISIT) program are migrating from a 2-print capture process (left & right index fingers) to a 10-print slap fingerprint capture process (all fingers on both hands). A usability test was performed to evaluate the time required to acquire a 10-print slap fingerprint image. This report presents the results of a study that examined the 10-print collection process.
