U.S.-Mexico Border Despite Some Progress, Environmental Infrastructure Challenges Remain

Many communities on both sides of the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border continue to face significant environmental problems. This report provides information & analysis on: the nature & extent of environmental infrastructure problems along the border; the programs & funding levels in place to address these problems, & the impediments to improving the environmental infrastructure. The report focuses primarily on the three environmental infrastructure areas: water, wastewater, & solid waste.
