Ruth is associate professor and director of the School Media Program at the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. She holds master's degrees in library science and education and received her doctorate in instructional design, development, and evaluation from Syracuse University. Ruth was named 1996 "Professor of the Year" by the graduate students of her school and is the 1997 recipient of the AASL/Highsmith Innovative Research Award. Marilyn is president, New Product Research and Development, and cofounder in 1984 of Creative Broadcast Associates, Inc., the parent company for Creative Media Solutions She is coproducer and director of research and evaluation for a nationally televised educational program for children. She is adjunct professor at Syracuse University's School of Information Studies. Marilyn received her master's degree in education from Harvard University and her doctorate in instructional design, development, and evaluation from Syracuse University.Ruth V.
