Jack Ketchum is the author of many novels, including Off Season, Hide and Seek, Cover, The Girl Next Door and She Wakes. His stories are collected in The Exit at Toledo Blade Boulevard and Broken on the Wheel of Sex. Richard Laymon is the author of over thirty novels and seventy short stories. A native of Chicago, Laymon attended Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and received his Masters Degree in English Literature from Loyola University of Los Angeles. He is the author of The Cellar, Night In the Lonesome October, The Stake, and many others. On February 14, 2001, Laymon died in his Los Angeles home, where he lived with his wife and daughter, of a massive heart attack. However, his work, both his backlist and new projects, will continue to be published by Leisure Books and Cemetery Dance Publications in the United States, and Headline in the United Kingdom Edward Lee has had fifteen novels published in the horror and suspense field, and is co-author of the controversial police-procedural novel Dahmer's Not Dead and the JFK assassination book The Deaths of the Cold War Kings. His short stories have appeared in many mass-market anthologies, including The Best American Mystery Stories of 2000, Pocket's Hot Blood series, and the award-winning 999.
