The Life and Times of Fred Kimble

John N. Davis was born in 1959, in Vienna, Georgia. Growing up in an area steeped in the traditions of hunting and fishing, he would find himself forever tied to the lure of the outdoors. Davis now practices law on the same corner of this small south Georgia town as his father and grandfather before him. He is a member of both the Parker Gun Collectors Association and L. C. Smith Gun Collectors Association, and has written a number of historical articles which have appeared in each organization’s newsletter. It was through his interest in gun collecting that his quest for Fred Kimble began, this after he acquired a Parker shotgun previously owned by Mr. Kimble.
