The Grounds of Christianity Examined by Comparing the New Testament with the Old (Dodo Press)

George Bethune English (1787-1828) was a critic of traditional Christianity and an adventurer. He graduated from Harvard College in 1807. During his theology studies, he began to doubt the truth of the Christian religion, which he critiqued in a book entitled The Grounds of Christianity Examined by Comparing the New Testament with the Old (1813).
