Story of Princess Nire

This is the story of Princess Nire of Anniev who has rejected the marriage proposals of the nasty king of the neighboring kingdom of Xafraif. Out of spite, he captures the younger brother of the princess & imprisons him in a dungeon. At this point a young English knight, Sir Percy Veer, who is noted for his persistence, arrives for a visit. He devises a plan & with the help of his Arabic friends, Ali Baba & Sinbad rescues the Prince by riding on the giant birds, called Rocs. Later they relieve the misery of the people of Xafraif by importing manx cats by the same means. When the nasty king sees how happy everyone is feeling, he mends his ways & is invited to join the party. The King & Queen of Anniev decide that they want to retire.
