STEREO MEMORIES contains a wide variety of poetry touching on the topics of love, pain, humor & memories. Much of the material has to do with the pain of losing those we love - parents & other family, childhood friends, etc. The struggle that couples have when trying to keep love alive in a world that tries to tear them apart is also a major theme. The humorous aspect of the poetry is a gentle humor, never biting, the type of humor that comes when we learn to laugh at ourselves & not to take life too seriously. There is a serious poem on the UFO phenomena. The author, currently 55, wrote this poetry over the past two years, & although much of the poetry may seem autobiographical, the themes are universal. As the author likes to say, "I started a mid-life crisis at age 40, & it's still going on. I finally started to write about it." Although this book would probably be more meaningful to adults, it is suitable for all ages.
