Peter Kuper is an artist who has dared to work in the difficult & demanding tradition founded & developed by two of cartooning's most legendary & brilliant practitioners: Windsor McCay, the creator of Little NemoÓ & George Herriman, the creator of Krazy Kat.Ó He is not satisfied with merely presenting a series of illustrated panels which are only connected by the narrative thread; he insists on joining them graphically so that they spill into one another, reconnect in unexpected ways & otherwise manage to violate their seemingly serial nature.
