Dave Riveness was born in Santa Clara, California and had only one major move in his childhood . . . when he turned one, his family moved into the house next door. Dave’s formal higher education took place at Cal Poly State University (San Luis Obispo, CA) and Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, OH). After graduating, Dave stayed in the higher education arena working as an Associate Dean of Students and teaching at a number of American Universities. Soon after, Dave transferred his speaking and teaching skills into the organizational development world, taking a position as a full time facilitator/trainer for Eagle’s Flight, an innovative leader in the development and delivery of practical training programs for the global business community. In 2004, Dave was made the Director of Global Facilitations” and has the frequent flier miles to prove it. For the past 8 years, Dave has facilitated training programs all over the world . . . including in such diverse places as India, New Zealand, Shanghai and Brazil. He has spoken in front of crowds ranging in size from 5 to 3500, in both small classroom settings and large conference gatherings. Dave has worked with hundreds of industry-leading companies such as Nike, Lockheed Martin, Honda, Pfizer, and The American Heart Association on a variety of topics relating to organizational and individual success.
