Saints and Scribes: Medieval Hagiography in Its Manuscript Context

In this survey of thirteenth-century codices in Old French verse that contain at least one saint's life, the author finds a great variety among combinations, in contrast to the corpus of medieval Latin hagiographic manuscripts.
