Professor John Herbert is currently Foundation Head at Staffordshire University where he has developed a BA (Hons) in Journalism; Broadcast Journalism and Politics, and an MA in Broadcast Journalism. He was co-founder of the UK's first postgraduate radio journalism diploma and has been both Head of Training for BBC Radio and Head of Journalist training for ABC. With 25 years of experience in international journalism, he has worked in England and Australia, participated in broadcast training in Singapore and accepted the position of Associate Professor in Journalism at the Baptist University of Hong Kong.
