Allen Morgan first became interested in children's books while teaching kindergarten (1974 - 1980). He is the author of the popular Matthew stories: "Matthew and the Midnight Money Van" (1987), "Matthew and the Midnight Turkeys" (1985) and "Matthew and the Midnight Tow Truck" (1984). Allen lives in Toronto.Jirina Marton has illustrated picture books internationally, and her paintings are exhibited in Italy, Japan, France, Spain and Canada. She recently traveled to Japan to do extensive research before creating "Lady Kaguya's Secret" (1997).
