Metaphysics of Tusi

This book is a bilingual Persian-English translation of three treaties by Nasir ad-Din Tusi (1201-1274) who is one of the most important Persian Muslim philosophers. The texts are entitled "Treatise on the Proof of a Necessary (Being)," "Treatise on Determinism & Destiny," & "Treatise on Division of Existents." In these treatises, Tusi develops new arguments for the existence of God, supports a soft-determinist position on the free will & determinism & presents arguments against existence of atoms.
