Malignant Hyperthermia : Perioperative Nurse Preparedness

Because little is known about the subject, the purpose of the study is to describe perioperative nurse preparedness to identify and manage MH. A description of nurse preparedness may serve to improve clinical practice and reduce the risks associated with MH for surgical patients. The specific aims of this study are as follows: (1) to describe the perioperative nurses' training, level of knowledge, and perceived educational needs regarding the identification and management of MH (nurse preparedness).
