Richard has a bachelor of Arts in Communications from UMass Amherst. Editor of South End, South Bay: Lisa Braxton, a native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and she is an award-winning journalist. Lisa is a former newspaper reporter, radio news reporter, and television news anchor and reporter. Lisa is also a freelance magazine writer and has written articles for Black Enterprise magazine and other publications. In addition, she has had a number of her short stories and poems published in literary journals. Miss Braxton earned her master's degree at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and her bachelor's degree at Hampton University.
