Livin' in the Hood

Livin’ in the Hood is about a group of friends who grew up in Harlem, New York, around the drugs, gangs and killings. Most of them knew what they wanted to do with their lives. Tanya Jones was a student and worked as a cashier at the supermarket. Chris Jones was just a kid who hung out until he got a job as a manager to remove himself from the thug life of selling drugs and hustling to make a dollar. Most of the guys or girls either worked or went to school. Tony was one who didn’t care one way or the other. Michael opened up his own gym; Susan worked at the supermarket with Tanya; and Jay, Paul, Keisha, Tina and Teresa were just friends who also lived in the hood.
