NIN ANDREWS was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and grew up on a farm, the youngest of six children. Nin's greatest success and claim to fame took place in her first year of life. She was a truly voluminous baby. In fact she was the largest baby the town had ever seen, and people came from all over the county to catch a glimpse at her. Her folks considered charging admission and were certain she'd grow up to be the fat lady at the Richmond State Fair. At least she'll have a natural source of income, her father always said. Nin grew up envisioning herself as an immense woman, being trucked across the country and gazed upon by curious onlookers. Unfortunately, Nin failed to maintain her initial stature and to fulfill her natural born destiny. Nin received her BA from Hamilton College, and her MFA from Vermont College. She is the author of several books including THE BOOK OF ORGASMS, ANY KIND OF EXCUSE, and WHY THEY GROW WINGS. She also edited a book of translations of the French poet, Henri Michaux, entitled SOMEONE WANTS TO STEAL MY NAMEAndrews, Nin is the author of 'Literary Traveler ' with ISBN 9780974822938 and ISBN 0974822930.
