J. Matthew Pinson, a native of Pensacola, Florida, is pastor of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church in Colquitt, Georgia. After attending Free Will Baptist Bible College, he earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of West Florida as well as a master's degree from Yale University. He has completed graduate coursework at Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia, and is in the final stages of his Ph.D. at Florida State University. Mr. Pinson teaches religion and history at Bainbridge College in Bainbridge, Georgia. He has ministered in Florida, Alabama, Connecticut, and Georgia and serves as moderator of Georgia's Martin Association of Free Will Baptists. He and his wife Melinda live in Colquitt.Pinson, J.
