Generally, it is a book that covers some of the bicycle trips that I done in the in the United States of America and Canada. In doing this, it covers some things of my childhood years, my years at work, and my years at school. The book points out some of the problems that I faced with discrimination and ghetto life. These things, along with reports about various political activists, which include El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz and Doctor Martin Luther King Jr., helped to shape my beliefs and inspired me to make bicycle trips. As a result of an automobile accident in my 1997 bicycling trip from Canada to Louisiana, yet which was intended to reach Mexico, and blatant employment discrimination, I was illegally fired the Philadelphia Free Library. The library¿s reason, excuse, for the termination of my work was because a truck smashed my head to the ground and I was, as a result, mentally permanently sick. The case went to courts and found many inconsistencies with the laws. With that, I entered school to study medicine and become medical doctor.Adefumi, Olaniyan Mtundu is the author of 'Kitabu Chetu and Bicycling Across the U.S.A. with Discrimination from the Free Library', published 2006 under ISBN 9780977899913 and ISBN 0977899918.
