Kenny Kan : The First Twenty-Five Years

I was born in Van Nuys California in August 1959 on a stormy night. I lived my entire life as if I were a safety monitor. I have been married for 25 years to a wonderful woman and have 3 wonderfully glorious children that exhibit all the dreams and hope I could ever have dreamed for them. I wanted to write since I was young, my maternal grandmother use to rave over my stories as a kid, she made me believe I could be a writer. I spent a lot of time alone as a child due to illness and the make believe stories and characters just filled my head. I made up more imaginary characters and games then a child should have to. I got out of high school early by taking a proficiency exam in the middle of my junior year. I dabbled in college after college. I started working at a very young age, and owned my first business at the age of 16. I spent 12 years in banking, 11 years in real estate and now have come full circle back to the profession I started college for: Accounting. My true dream was to write or sing jazz in a small smoky club somewhere on the docks, but since I can’t sing I decided to try my hand at writing. I currently have the sequel to Martha McBride, Judge and Jury” almost complete with outlines for my next 4 books. I now live back in California on the beach in Oceanside. If there is anything other then my family that inspires me, it’s my love of the ocean. In addition to my book, I write extensive letters to family and friends, with some short stories scheduled to be published. I suppose my life ends up to be my best qualification for my writing.Johnson, A.
