Dr. Matthews is an assistant professor of Social Work at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He has also taught in the African-American Studies department at EMU. He earned an appointment to Central Michigan University's Graduate School Extended Degree Program where he taught Health Administration and Health Planning Courses.
