James Taylor is an award-winning author of over a thousand magazine, newspaper, and Internet articles and more than 12 books, including Precious Days and Practical Love, Letters to Stephen, Everyday Psalms, and Everyday Parables. He holds an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from United College (McGill University) and honorary life membership to the Canadian Church Press and the Editors' Association of Canada. He began his career as a broadcaster, was founding editor of the clergy journal PMC: The Practice of Ministry in Canada and Managing Editor for The United Church Observer.
