U.S. gov¿t. efforts to protect & enforce intellectual property (IP) rights domestically & overseas are crucial to preventing billions of dollars in losses to U.S. industry & IP rights owners & to avoiding health & safety risks resulting from the trade in counterfeit & pirated goods.
