³Motor Voter² (MV) is the popular name for a system in which people can apply for voter registration in the same offices where they obtain driver¹s licenses or, in a few cases, where they register vehicles. This report is designed for jurisdictions that are considering adoption or modification. It draws upon examples to generalize about the effects of different program designs.
