H.R. 4007 and S. 1379, the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act Hearing Before the Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, U.S. House of Representatives

Hearing on information that the U.S. Gov't. has on Nazi war criminals, which has been kept secret since the end of World War II, but must receive full scrutiny by the public. The Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act provides for the disclosure of Nazi war criminal records in the possession of the U.S. Gov't. It calls for the establishment of an Interagency Working Group to administer & facilitate the disclosure of Nazi war crimes records. The bill also provides for expedited processing of FOIA requests of Holocaust survivors. S. 1379, which is identical to H.R. 4007, was introduced by Sen.
