Heart of the Turtle

The series of artwork and poetry presented here is the author's record of therapy with a Jungian psychologist. Requests for copies of the series came from psychologists as well as from patients who felt it would be beneficial to have to have a copy available as a catalyst to access feelings. As the book took shape, another purpose began to emerge. "Scattered" information about possible causes of Parkinson's Disease began to fall together in a sensible but confusing pattern. She believes that she knows the dynamics of her malady and her anger about it is not concealed. Rebecca (Becky) Hudson graduated from the University of Washington in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her interest in art was set aside to support her husband's career (Veterinary Medicine).
