Happy Rain

Continuing a two-year program to bring back twenty-two Maurice Sendak treasures long out of print, our third season celebrates the collaborations between Maurice Sendak and both his father, Philip, and his brother, Jack.Storytelling and book-making began in the Sendak family with Philip telling his children wonderful stories about his own boyhood in Europe. Soon Jack was making up his own stories and Maurice would illustrate them on cardboard.
