Gypsy Heart, Restless Spirit, discuss our new identity with the Lord and the Holy Spirit's presence dwelling inside the temple of our body. So what does new identity abiding in Christ and living in Him have to do with the Holy Spirit? This is very important. As God is triune, He is able to fully understand and meet our needs. The Lord knows our limitations and He knows we may still sin and probably will, but He has also made us living saints. As soon as we can get used to that idea, being a saint, the sooner we can be free to allow the Lord to work in and through us for His greater glory. His divine purposes will be fulfilled through us and this is much easier done when Christ is in us. We gave the Lord that permission when we turned our lives over to Him and asked Him to take up residence inside our hollow shells. He accepts us immediately and fills us with forgiveness and love. He cleanses us and made us whole. And now He provides us with protection guidance, counsel, comfort and intercession by sending us His Holy Spirit. That is the job of the Holy Spirit...we are His job...we are His ongoing project. And as saints who allow the Lord entry into our hearts without reservation, we permit the Holy Spirit full access to us minds and hearts. This means we have a full time spiritual partner who cares for us and will never leave us to suffer any evil sent by Satan. The Holy Spirit is consumed with our well being and spiritual progress. He is not going away: we will not be stranded, betrayed, let down or allowed to become lost. He who lives inside us and outside us is with the very essence of our being, that is God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. With this conviction, we automatically convert our gypsy heart and restless spirit to that of a shepherd's heart with a consoling spirit.Knox, Dahk is the author of 'Gypsy Heart, Restless Spirit' with ISBN 9781582750682 and ISBN 1582750688.
