Good Design An Exhibation by Max Bill, 1949

In 1949, Max Bill used his exhibition to conduct a fundamental discussion on the forms & content of product design. This led to the Swiss Werkbund's Die Gute Form campaign (1952-1958), which had many successors world-wide. Bill also influenced the foundation & curriculum of the Hochschule fur Gestaltung in Ulm. The original exhibition has survived intact & will pass into the design collection in the Zurich Museum fur Gestaltung after being shown there. The publication records all 100-display panels from the exhibition, & also planning & working material from associated fields.
