Films and Videos on Photography

This directory is published by the Program for Art on Film on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of photography. The descriptive listings, arranged alphabetically,include over five hundred films and videotapes on photographers and on the history and art of the medium. A subject index enables researchers to locate films on specific topics. A names index lists films featuring particular photographers, and a source index lists addresses of distributors or producers of the films. The Program for Art on Film is a joint venture of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the J. Paul Getty Trust.
