Dual Attraction: Understanding Bisexuality

First major study of bisexuality. Based on intensive interviews & surveys of 800 gay, lesbian, bisexual (BS), & heterosexual residents of San Francisco, they offer a wealth of data about the nature of BS attraction, the steps that lead people to become BS, & how sexual preference can change over time. They found that there are 5 major types of BSÓ; that BS men & women differ in their sexual profiles; that BS men & women differ in whether they have romantic feelings toward the same sex; & that most of the BS were involved in stable relationships while continuing sexual activity outside those relationships.
