Roberta Satow, Ph.D., is chairperson of the Department of Sociology at Brooklyn College, a senior member of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis, and a practicing psychoanalyst in New York City. She has taught the course Sociology of Gender at Brooklyn College and at Columbia Teachers College for the last twenty years.
