Vegoda, Victor H., Clegg, Richard
Victor Vegoda has practised as a surveyor since 1960. Exasperated with reference books which cited cases and statutes, but failed to indicate what they said, he conceived the 'Need to Know' series. The concept is to have cases, statutues and commentary all in one book. Everything you need to know between the covers. His particular interest in Dilapidations stems from his early days, when he managed a large commercial portfolio spread throughout the United Kingdom. Happily married with three boys who have now left home (save for occassional visists), and are virtually off the payroll, he lives with his wife in a leafy suburb in North London. Richard Clegg practises as a Barrister from Littman Chambers, 12 Gray's Inn Square, Gray's Inn, London. He is a graduate of Trinity Hall, Cambridge and a winner of the national Observer Mace for mooting during his time there. After a brief spell doing personal injury law, he joined his present set of Chambers, practising in commercial and property law. In the year 2000 he was appointed as Judicial Assistant to the Court of Appeal, focussing on commercial and property disputes. He spends much of his working week touring the High Court and County Courts of London in search of justice for his clients.Vegoda, Victor H. is the author of 'Dilapidations Handbook ', published 2002 under ISBN 9781898383703 and ISBN 1898383707.
