Connecticut native Kristen Gould Case caught the ski bug at age seven on a trip to Vermont with her family. She skied in Vermont throughout her youth and during her college years at Middlebury College. In 1985, during a ski vacation to Utah, the sunny skies, fresh powder and handsome lift attendants at Deer Valley Resort convinced her to move west. She's been appreciating the joys of Utah skiing and Park City living ever since. She is co-editor of Park City magazine and a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in numerous local, regional and national publications. She received Ski Utah's "Excellence in Ski Journalism" award in 1997-98. Combining two of her greatest passions, she "writes to live and lives to ski."
