When A Day at a Time first came out, I thought it was the most contemporary and universal meditation book of all. I still think so. I read A Day at a Time every day. It's always on my bedside table-actually it's such a fixture that the sun has bleached out the table around it. My husband is a recovering alcoholic and I'm a recovering compulsive overeater. We have His and Hers copies of A Day at a Time. It works for both of us.
