Cry Wolf is a four part film noir graphic novel set in Chicago 1925. Kurt Angelo, private detective, becomes the reluctant hand of the Ascended Ones. After using his beast to wipe out the mobsters who killed his wife, new werewolf Kurt Angelo finds out he's not out of the woods yet. The sequel picks up the morning after the end of the first graphic novel. It turns out that the mobsters that Kurt killed in revenge were low enforcers for the mob, and employed by Al Capone.
