This report follows up on the status of the corrective actions taken by Fed. agencies to address the internal control weaknesses & recommendations previously reported that could affect the U.S.'s ability to effectively respond to chemical or biological terrorist (CB&T) incidents. This ability is dependent, on the plans, methods, & procedures used to ensure that the med. supplies designated for this purpose are current, accounted for, & ready for use. Among the resources the federal government is devoting to combating CB&T is funding to develop & maintain a national stockpile of pharmaceutical & medical supplies that can be used to treat civilian & military victims of CB&T acts.
