Mary Liz Austin (birth date Dec. 24, 1960, US citizen. Degrees: MLA - BS Iowa State Unversity. MS Bastyr University, Seattle, WA.) Husband/wife photography team Mary Liz Austin and Terry Donnelly live on Vashon Island in the heart of Puget Sound in Washington. Over the past twelve years they have traveled extensively in North American national parks and the American countryside. Most recent travels include Ireland, Tuscany, and the south Pacific. In their work, they seek those elusive conditions, which reveal the mystery and grandeur of nature. Donnelly and Austin have three books using exclusive collections of their work: Washington: The Spirit of the Land (1999), Seattle (1999), and Heaven on Earth (2000), Oregon: Preserving the Spirit and Beauty of Our Land (2003). They have recently completed a book project Wild Seattle to be released by Sierra Club Book in Spring of 2004.
