Brett Alan Sanders is a writer, translator, and teacher living in Tell City, Indiana. He teaches Spanish and English at Perry Central Junior-Senior High School, where he sponsors an extracurricular literary club and helped launch the student literary journal, The Jolie Rouge. He is completing a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies at the University of Southern Indiana, where he was co-winner of the 2005 Louis Schewe Essay Award. He is a contributing writer at Tertulia Magazine, and also writes regularly for New Works Review and The Quill & Ink. His Young Adult novella A Bride Called Freedom was published in 2003 in a bilingual edition by Ediciones Nuevo Espacio, and he has just completed work on his Argentine travel memoir Journeys and Digressions and the collection of stories and prose sketches No One Assured in God.
