Aviation Safety Faas Use of Emergency Orders to Revoke or Suspend Operating Certificates

The FAA is responsible for examining, testing, & inspecting the compliance of airmen & aviation entities that seek a certificate to operate. When FAA detects violations of the FAR, it can enforce compliance with the regulations. If the FAA determines that immediate action is required, the agency can use an emergency order (EO) to immediately revoke or suspend the operating certificates.
