Before turning novelist, Irving Stanton Elman’s career spanned the dramatic arts, going from Broadway playwright to Hollywood movie and television writer and producer, with five plays and three musicals on the New York and other stages, eight major studio movies, and over two thousand TV shows as writer and/or producer, winning two Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe and Alexander Graham Bell awards, and Pulitzer Prize Play Finalist recognition.
